Aimee Mann is an American singer-songwriter who landed a career in music in the 1980s after joining the band ‘Til Tuesday as the bassist and vocalist. During her time with the band, she was the one who wrote one of their best top 10 singles titled Voices Carry. After debuting her solo album titled Whatever in 1993, Mann started to release more albums and began to record songs of her own in 1999 including songs for the soundtrack of the movie Magnolia which was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
